Central to our corporate values is our commitment to social responsibility and our desire to contribute in a direct way to our local and global communities.  At VereQuest we encourage and support employee involvement in community service and proactively participate, in a meaningful way, to the economic and social well-being of others.

VereQuest is a proud supporter of the G.R.O Foundation and has been a long-term sponsor of the “Lelapa (Family) Scholarship”.  The Family Scholarship fund provides educational support for at-risk high school students in the Mountain Kingdom of Lesotho southern Africa.  Importantly, it goes beyond similar scholarship assistance programs by making peer support and collective achievement central to our model, rather than simply providing tuition.  As part of the holistic model, we believe that in order for orphaned students to be successful they need to be surrounded by a supportive ‘family’ environment that offers a variety of opportunities, guidance and love, in addition to academic assistance.

In 2008, in support of a new G.R.O. Foundation initiative, VereQuest sponsored the construction of a poultry house for the Lisemeng Poultry Association -- a co-operative of over 20 elderly women who attend to the needs of struggling community members.
